Dreamlike Reality

Well it's been around a month since I have been to Bangalore. Days been pretty crazy and busy lately. But I guess I can find some time to write about the feelings I have been collecting to write a post about.
Obviously this is the best period of my life. As I said I was miserable waiting for my joining and all. But now that I am here, I just love love everything here.
My roommates, my room, our hostel corridors, terrace, the city lights blinking above flyovers, the crescent moon lurking behind tall buildings, the Sia and Nirvana's songs bursting in my ears, my high heels, the crazy dizzy feeling with lift moving up and down in office, sound of access cards and orange lit patterned evening sky, the long walks back to room, the crazy sense of two different worlds existing in same space when I see guards taking their lunch outside on floor and us inside the AC rooms, the cleanliness of the floors and spotless basins, burnt coffee they call cappuccino and latte , ginger tea, a kind of self sustaining air around everyone, our training room and it's wallpaper with city lights and infinity sign, the waiting line for washing clothes, unexpectedly little kids hanging around in cafeteria while their parents are peaking at them while doing work on laptop, waiting for shuttles to pick us up while golden sunlight in morning shines on us and again waiting for shuttles to drop us while sky is turning into hazel blue with hint of orange in it.
It all sounds and seems so serene! Like I am living in dream with extra sense to feel exactly how we feel the reality.
Who will not love this feeling?
Sometimes dreams seem so far but they are just right there peeking at us behind dark curtains of time.
All we need is patience and a little hope I suppose...
To my dreamlike Reality!
To Bangalore days!
Merci!

Dooms day conspiracy

Well. Never have I ever read a alien based invasion novel.
And this one was quite filled with actions with protagonist running around making phone calls to important people and getting away from cbi and FBI and God knows what not.  I found it rather dull. If only there was a better end to it. I would have accepted it as a good decent novel.
But don't let people doom your planet... that is hilarious. But in a way it reminded me of the day I was head over heels upset about the climate change and I suddenly decided to read everything I could to understand as much as there is written about climate change. But then after a while it was just the situation as of Siennas logic from inferno that our mind does not let us process the information which is beyond our understanding.
And it reminded me of the Fermi paradox, which is rather a logical explanation for the alien situation.

It also reminded me of Dan Brown's style of writing, while later I discovered that he was actually inspired by Sydney Sheldon's style of writing action thrillers.

Other than that, A good one time read with jumbled up plot which raises expectations but ends with a disappointment.

Merci!
